Freemasons SA/NT Night Owls Super Series

The 2nd Freemasons SA/NT Night Owls Super Series kicks off on Monday 1 March with the Region 12 event being held at the Henley Bowling Club.

With over 60 teams again participating over the 4 regional events, the final to be held at the Brighton Bowling Club promises to be a must see event.

Bowls SA would again like to thank our major sponsor Freemasons SA/NT for all their support. Without them this alternative competition would not be possible. Bowls SA would also like to thank Lion Nathan for their support with giveaways for this event. Their support of Night Owls in SA is much appreciated.

Congratulations to both teams. They now qualify for the Super Series final on the 12th.

Super Series Final

Friday 12 March: Brighton Bowling Club

Chariots of Fire (West Lakes) and Bent Bowlers (Lockleys) have qualified for the State Night Owls Final after making their way through to the Freemasons Super Series Final on Friday night. Chariots of Fire were the official winners of the 2nd series after a close 8-6 win over Bent Bowlers in the final.

In the plate final, Hope Valley young guns Street Bowlers won themselves $200 after a 6-2 win over Two Plus Two from Payneham. Ironically Two Plus Two have also qualified for the State Final after making the final of the last series. A great effort by the boys.

Thankyou to Brighton for hosting the evening and a big thanks to John Cranwell and Carol Boyle from Bowls SA for attending the evening.
