All who ventured out to Marion Bowls Club enjoyed clear blue skies today as the 2023-24 Women’s Country Carnival wrapped up with semifinals and finals.

Over 130 social bowlers from across South Australia converged on the Hawthorn Bowling Club this afternoon for the Night Owls State Finals.

Showcasing a significant increase in women numbers, Sturt Bowling Club’s first women’s pennant team in nearly 30 years reached the grand final in season 2023-24.
